Làm Quen is a gentle introduction to Vietnamese through picture books, short sentences, and simple vocabulary. It’s ideal for ages 0–3, and a lovely starting point for older children who are new to Vietnamese, too.
Each delivery includes 5 handpicked books, sent every 3 months. Choose $52 billed every 3 months or $189 billed annually.
As a Vietnamese mom and former teacher, I choose books I’m excited to share with my own children and yours. Enjoy reading together, discovering new words, and making Vietnamese part of everyday family life.
When your books ship
Your first box ships within 7 business days of ordering. Future deliveries follow a three-month cycle based on when you joined, with each delivery scheduled for the first day of its delivery month. Boxes usually ship during the second week of that month.
Shipping
US shipping is free. International shipping is $10 per shipment to Canada and $15 per shipment to other countries.
Hello To Chào is a small family business, and we pack every box with care. If our family’s travel affects your delivery schedule, we’ll email you in advance to make arrangements.

Every three months, you will receive a package of 5 Vietnamese and bilingual Vietnamese books.
RETURNS
Returns and refunds are eligible within the first 30 days of delivery. To start a return/refund, please send an email to info@hellotochao.com with your order number, reason for return and list of returned products.
To be eligible for a return/refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@hellotochao.com.
EXCHANGE
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@hellotochao.com.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Refunds will be made for the price of the item, excluding shipping fees.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Our books come from reputable publishing companies in Vietnam. Most of the books are our own family's favorites. They include Vietnamese only and bilingual Vietnamese books.
Billing & Cancellation
Billing & Cancellation
If you choose "annual" plan, you will be billed yearly. Your subscription will renewed automatically after 12 months.
If you choose "quarterly" plan, you will be billed every 3 months. Your subscription will renew every 3 months.
Cancellation can be done anytime and your subscription will end when the billing cycle ends.
